Mark asks…
energy sources..?
why do we need to develop non-conventional sources of energy?
admin answers:
There is a limited amount of oil and coal in the world. Eventually (although probably not terribly soon), it will run out. This is a problem not only in terms of energy, but also in terms of material goods because oil and natural gas are the feed stocks from which most of our plastic and many other products are made.

Sandy asks…
Energy sources:?
what are the differences between renewable and non renewable energy sources../////////…../’;'/.????
admin answers:
Renewable energy is replaceable and can’t be depleted. The source of energy will always be there for us to tap into. Examples of renewable energy are solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and biomass. Biofuel extracted from palm oil, soy bean, corn, etc is also renewable energy.
Non-renewable energy is the opposite. Examples are coal and oil.
I don’t think nuclear power and hydrogen are renewable energies. The fuel for nuclear power (ie. Hydrogen isotope and uranium) are obtained through extraction and come with limited supply. Although we may say hydrogen is plenty, it is NOT an energy source, BUT an energy carrier.
