The Global Solar Power Alternative Energy Bubble Sure to Burst Big

We are told here in the United States that we need to follow Europe’s lead and become an alternative energy shining city on the Hill. And because that sounds like such a great idea from the politically correct crowd, the Democrats have done everything they can to destroy our energy infrastructure, and raise the cost of energy in order to see that the alternative energy industry can’t compete in the real world.

It is amazing to me that President Obama has tried to do so much of what has utterly failed in Europe. He’s happily pushed us closer towards socialism, because that’s what Europe was doing, although now with their austerity programs, they are moving closer towards capitalism, because their way didn’t work. Isn’t it interesting that we were following their old way which failed, rather than what we are good at, and that’s capitalism.

Giving subsidies away for alternative energy is not the way to help us towards a cleaner future.

Did you know that when the cap and trade program started in Europe it was filled with fraud, cheating, and made instant millionaires out of manipulators? And did you know that recently it was shut down because of theft? Why are we following Europe’s mistakes? Is it because too many of the Democrats have fallen in love with the theories of socialism? There are far too many examples of silly things that Europe has done in the name of alternative energy, and we are learning their lessons, we are following them into the same ruts, mud holes, and towards the same cliffs.

In fact there was a very interesting article in Knowledge-AT-Wharton not long ago titled; “Solar Power Incentives in France: Subsidization without ‘Planification’?” – the article was published on January 26, 2011 and written by Benjamin Andrew, Mario de Barros, and Seth Kisch, members of the Lauder Class of 2012. The article made reference to the massive subsidies France is giving out for solar power, that in a country that has nearly 80% of its electricity coming from Nuclear Power.

Now then, consider this; these subsidies cause more purchases and drive up costs due to supply and demand economics globally. And also consider that we don’t make solar cells in this nation, and the little manufacturing of solar cells that we do produce, is nothing compared to those they make in Japan, China, and Germany. When we subsidize this industry, we are really subsidizing those other nations, and I’d really like to know how that can provide over 4 million jobs in the alternative energy sector.

All I see is sticking it to the middle class family who is going to see their electricity bills triple due to all the extra regulation being enforced onto the fossil fuel industry by the EPA, and God help us when Cap and Trade comes along. American needs to get back to doing what it does best, and there is no way to do that following a socialist agenda.

(Open Letter)

“Mr. President,

Won’t you please resign, and do what you promised; that is do what’s best for the American people?

Indeed, I am truly sorry that things didn’t work out, I am sorry that you couldn’t live up to your promises, your speeches, or your eloquent Teleprompter readings. But since you are a failed president, you should do the right thing and step down, and you should start that transition immediately. After all, isn’t that what you told the Egyptian president who was also a failed leader? You can’t have it both ways, you see, Mr. president if you live in hypocrisy, no one is going to listen to what you have to say, and at that point you are unfit to lead.

It’s not good or bad, it’s not an emotional issue, it’s just a fact, it’s time for you to go.

Please consider all this.”
