How do you create energy using [ hydrogen fuel cells ] ?

I have to somehow create energy using hydrogen fuel cells.

This is for a grade 9 science project.

My teacher said there is a really simple way by charging electricity into a container of water, and something about Electrolysis.

Any ideas?
