What type of pine trees are these?

hey there! so i’m 16 and am being a little paranoid about my makeup.
I wear:
liquid eyeliner on the top with the fish tail thing going on,
a lot of mascara,
foundation,
powder,
and concealer on some spots, not all over my face, that’s just gross.

the makeup here is a little different, it’s white eyeliner in top+corner or eye, and black on the bottom, with all the other stuff listed above, save the liquid eyeliner.

No way! Your sixteen, though it doesn’t look like you are wearing much makeup.
Oh and by the way, in my opinion, i don’t think foundation, powder, and concealer is gross as long as you take it off at night before you go to sleep.

I don’t know what to do with myself?
I know I’m going to just sound like a generic teenager, but I have to get some things off some chest and possibly receive some good feedback to help.
I think of the concept of death a lot recently, what it would feel like to be dead, but don’t want to die. I currently am stressing a lot what to do about “the future.” I’m 16 and feel like I need to make decisions for a set goal to do, but I really do not have any ideas. I have interests in art, reading, writing stories, drama, playing the piano, etc, but no idea for a secure income comes into mind.
I have been bullied before, so always feel awkward/like I’m not good enough/doing something wrong around people when most of the time I’m not. I’m paranoid. I’m paranoid about the way I look and constantly am looking for a way to change myself.
I always get overly upset when someone offends me and I find it hard to truly like people
I don’t like people who are racist, unfriendly, say horrible “jokes”, people who try to exclude me from situations and people who are heartless about sensitive topics, …but it seems the majority of individuals around me behave in this way.
I have been single for over a year,some people say I’m pretty but I really disagree
I only want helpful answers, not “lol get sum self esteem 1nnit”
So basically, what do I do?
@ Honey__B… that wasn’t helpful whatsoever “growing up” isn’t going to determine what career I want from life. What makes me happy, how I will feel more comfortable around people. You’re just arrogant and because you’re an “adult” you think that you’re superior to anyone younger than you.
+ I posted the picture so people can see why I don’t like the way I look. I don’t want compliments.

Sounds like your suffering from an abuse cycle. Best Advice, let go of whatever is holding you back. Go explore your interests, and don’t take yourself so seriously.
The good news is your ahead of the curve by thinking of your future at 16. Use your high school to prepare as best as possible, most high schools now have classes that will train you in a trade, Computer Science, Auto Motive, Culinary Arts. Take advantage of those elective classes, pay for some weekend tutoring like $20 for a two hour session, or get someone to tutor you for free.
I would say if you want money, get in those computer classes, and get some tutoring in the math if you have issues. Eventually, go to college or a trade school. Take out student loans if you have too, better to go into debt for a few grand now and pay if off in a few years after school then get tied down in a go no where work force.
This is all coming from someone who was bullied pretty bad in his life. But I decided that I could keep blaming my dad, or the bullies from school, or I could move forward and leave the past behind me.
I don’t make alot of money now, but I make enough to support my family.
Either way your 16, perfect time to figure things out. If your weak in a subject, your still young enough to grow stronger in that subject and prepare for your future career. Don’t give up, and it does get better.
Also, if your a gamer like I was, put it down sometime and study a bit more, or go take a walk. Good Study habits and health habits have real benefits to them, gaming all day has no benefit other than wasting time.

The numbers on the scale you are given are nanometers for wavelength. You need to read the specific wavelength of each of the colored lines for Hydrogen. If you convert nanometers into meters (divide by 10^-9), you can plug the value into the equation E=hc/wavelength, where h is Plank’s constant 6.626 x 10^-34, and c is the speed of light, 3.0 x 10^8.

Glycolysis/NAD+ question?
After the cell creates two molecules of G-3-P, triose phopshate dehydrogenase + 2 NAD+ come in, adding a couple phosphates, and stripping off the H+ to form 2 NADH + 2H+
However, I am confused on what the source is for the 2 NADH + 2H+. Based on the pictures, one hydrogen will come off of each G-3-P molecule, totaling two protons and two electrons. However, to turn 2 NAD+ –> 2NADH + 2H+, don’t you need four protons and four electrons? I am extremely confused in trying to follow the hydrogen protons and electrons, so your help will be greatly appreciated!

Each molecule of NAD+ can acquire two electrons; that is, be reduced by two electrons. However, only one proton accompanies the reduction. The other proton produced as two hydrogen atoms are removed from the molecule being oxidized is liberated into the surrounding medium. For NAD, the reaction is thus:
NAD+ + 2H -> NADH + H+
The energy-yielding steps of glycolysis involve reactions of 3-carbon compounds to yield ATP and reducing equivalents as NADH. The first substrate for energy production is glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate, which reacts with ADP, inorganic phosphate, and NAD in a reaction catalyzed by the enzyme glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase – reaction diagram in link.
Two H – (=H+ & electron) x 2 are removed per G-3-P.
