I was entering the Cumberland Farm’s store when I notice a bumper sticker that said. WWW.greasycar.com I asked the gentlemen what was that all about, he said that the vehicle he was driving, as he pointed to several large containers of vegetable oil, was running on that. The only one that i know is the Czech Republic. Its about 34 Crowns a liter and there are roughly 4 liters to a gallon. So Diesel here is about
$8.75 a gallon

Biodiesel. the way forward for energy supply ?
Would it be possible in these times of high oil, gas, electric prices to use a form of biodiesel to heat our homes, use to generate electricity to watch tv etc?
Is there a practical way of acheiving this or is it impossible?

Yes of course but than there will be the same if not much more emissions than gas etc as gas burns efficiently (Believe it or not)
If we do use biodiesel products than how will the oil companys make all their money. Of course using biodiesel is the way forward, mainly I think it’s electric and nuclear but hey biodiesel aswell.
Can’t you see that the world has this on hold because oil and gas powers our world… The money generated is immense, they can’t just stop using oil. They will suck all the money out first than use other methods.
Of course biodiesel is possible it is being used todays in a number of cars and refinarys.

Is it cheaper for a person to produce their own biodiesel using WVO, lye, and Ethyl alcohol or to just simply buy petro diesel from a station? Anybody know the average price difference?
