Ruth asks…
How can you make biodiesel fuel in a greenhouse?
admin answers:
The same way you make it in a kitchen or a garage. Biodiesel isn’t called bio because it’s grown that way, it’s called that because it is made from vegetable oil by adding chemicals.

George asks…
Can a conventional engine be converted to run on biodiesel fuel?
Specifically an old VW Bus.
admin answers:
Not to biodiesel. It would be possible to run it on bioethanol though. Strictly speaking, it would run on ethanol without any conversion, althoug it would greatly reduce the life of the engine. To do it practically without conversion, you would have to alternate fillings between normal gas and ethanol, because normal gasoline will clean the system( weird as that sounds) to do it with a conversion would mean that you would coat the inside of the gas tank with rubber, as well as anything metal that carries gasoline. I do not know if yoou would have to coat the pistons, but probably not. It might be cheaper/safer just to but a new car.

Charles asks…
Is it true that vegetable oil is a new biodiesel fuel?
Today during my 5th grade classroom, we read a passage about vegetable oil.
admin answers:
True. Theres alot of plant sources than can b turn into bio fuels. Corn which is the most considered n most expensive process is on our governments mind. Did u know than if we take all of our crop fields in the America n plant corn for bio fuel it will only touck about 7% of our iol consumption.
